Ogdensburg man charged in Massena credit card fraud investigation

MASSENA -- An Ogdensburg man is facing four felonies after Village Police charged him with using a stolen credit card to make various purchases at local businesses.

Scott Kroeger, 29, of 504 Ford Street is facing one count of fourth-degree grand larceny and three counts of second-degree forgery, all felonies. He is also charged with three misdemeanor counts of petit larceny.

Sgt. Adam Love said a friend of Kroeger’s gave him the wallet, which belonged to a Potsdam resident, after finding it on the ground somewhere in Akwesasne.

He was arraigned in Massena Village Court this afternoon, information about what action the court took was not immediately available.
