OGDENSBURG – An Ogdensburg man faces felony charges after he allegedly falsified business records at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, according to Ogdensburg police.

Andrew W. Rheome, 30, of Ogdensburg was charged first-degree falsifying business records and third-degree grand larceny.

Both charges are felonies.

Investigators say Rheome fudged records to get paid for time he never worked. Investigators say Rheome collected about $15,600 of pay for time he didn’t work as a per-diem mental health sitter.

He was charged Tuesday and was released on his own recognizance.
