POTSDAM – An Ogdensburg man trying to get admitted to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Detox Unit was arrested by village police Wednesday for reportedly fondling an employee and exposing his penis in the unit lobby.

Dale E. Martin Jr., 27, Ogdensburg, was charged with forcible touching and exposure of a person at 6 p.m. Wednesday by village police.

Police allege Martin grabbed and fondled the breasts of a detox employee who was able to free herself. Then, while seated in the lobby, he allegedly exposed his penis.

Martin was taken into custody and arraigned by Potsdam Village Justice Pignone and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $250 bail.
