The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s investigation concluded that Middlemiss assaulted and injured another inmate, and charged him with second-degree assault, a Class D felony.
He was arraigned in Canton Town Court and ordered held in lieu of $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
Middlemiss was in the county lockup in lieu of $10,000 bail after he allegedly violated an order of protection, attacked another person and damaged a door during a domestic dispute with a child present May 28 in Macomb.
