OGDENSBURG – Due to a lack of candidate interest in last year's pageant, the Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival Committee is considering cutting the Queen's Pageant from this year's event.
But they're looking for feedback from the community before they make their decision.
"Due to very low entries for the 2011 pageant, it is not financially feasible to continue the pageant unless we get more young women to compete and the community to attend," the committee wrote in a press release.
They are asking if you, or someone you know, are planning on entering the 2012 Queen or Junior Queen pageant, contact Sally Cole by 5 p.m. Friday, March 23.
