OGDENSBURG -- Physician's assistant David T. Adams has joined the medical staff at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
Adams is seeing patients of all ages at the Hammond Area Health Center, 225 St. Lawrence Avenue. Appointments can be made by calling 324-5941.
Adams was on staff at Hermon Family Health Care for 21 years as a primary care provider. As a family practice physician assistant, he treats all patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. The scope of his practice includes but is not limited to annual exams, well child exams, routine gynecological care and acute care visits.
Adams earned a bachelor of the science degree in medical microbiology from the University of Rhode Island and then earned his physician assistant degree from Albany Medical College physician assistant program. He is in the process of obtaining board recertification.
Adams lives in Ogdensburg with his wife, MaryEllen. His interests include power lifting, magic, and balloon sculpting.
