OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center has hired a new pediatrician to its staff.
Dr. Kome Oseghal will provide care at 3 Lyon Place, Suite 307, Ogdensburg. Appointments can be made by calling 393-0340.
Dr. Oseghale a native of Nigeria, attended medical school at the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
She recently completed her residency training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, Affiliate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.
Her clinical interests include developmental pediatrics and autism.
“I bring with me 15 years of experience and dedication in medicine working with children and their families, especially in my home country of Nigeria and in the United States,” Dr. Oseghale said. “I have maintained a high-level of proficiency in direct patient care, teaching, and advocacy for children by organizing community health awareness programs that focus on preventive care in areas such as childhood obesity, nutrition, autism spectrum disorders and HIV/AIDS."
