OGDENSBURG -- The City of Ogdensburg is honoring tonight the nine Ladouceur brothers, who formed a baseball team back in the early 1900s and went undefeated for over three years.
The nine brothers fielded the entire team and had their team photo displayed in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
In a ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday night, the city will officially unveil at the Dobisky Community Center a commemorative photo board that shows the team’s history in words and photos.
The dedication will feature ballpark-themed refreshments, including Ogdensburg's Chuck Kelly (Advance News) handing out popcorn and Crackerjacks while dressed as a ballpark popcorn vender of yesteryear.
