Three St. Lawrence County men are among 199 new members of the New York State Police.
The New York State Police today congratulated the new members at the 203rd session graduation ceremony from the Basic School of the New York State Police Academy.
Brandon Strader of Heuvelton, Jordan Lamay of Ogdensburg, and Nathan Porter of Pierpont all completed the 26-week training.
“After months of difficult classwork and training, the 203rd Basic School join the ranks of one of the finest police agencies in the world,” said New York State Police Superintendent Joseph A. D’Amico. “This graduation is the culmination of 26 weeks of hard work and perseverance. I congratulate all of our new Troopers and thank them for their continued dedication and determination.”
Strader and Lamay will be assigned to Troop B, which includes St. Lawrence County. Porter will be assigned to Troop C, which includes Ithaca and Oswego.
