CANTON -- Ogdensburg and Gouverneur residents were charged Friday with lying on pistol permit applications, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
The incident was first reported to officers Feb 7.
Lee Hance, 36, Gouverneur and Selean M. Simmons, 23, were each charged with making a false written statement.
Each subject reportedly failed to provide arrest information on their applications.
They were issued appearance tickets returnable to Canton court at a later date, deputies said.
