OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Garden Club seek local gardeners to participate in their flower show they have titled “The St. Lawrence River, Our Home.”
It will be Aug. 19 from 3 to 7 p.m. and Aug. 20 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.at the Dobisky Center. The second day will include Youth Garden Club exhibits 2 to 4 p.m. at the Remington Museum.
There is no admission fee to enter. Growers can submit annual or perennial plants in hanging or standing planters or produce and herbs.
Glass bottles and vases will be provided for cut plants and plates for produce.
All entries should be free of disease, insects and spray residue. Plant shine or polish is not allowed.
People can also enter an entire garden.
Exhibitors can enter more than once per class. Classes include flower designs, special education exhibits, youth garden exhibits and horticulture.
