OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg Free Academy students took part in a mock election from Oct. 23 to 28.
The students picked Vernon “Sam” Burns over Wayne Ashley for mayor, 50 percent of the vote to 47.57 percent.
They chose David Price, James Amo and Timothy Davis for three City Council seats.
The students picked Mary Farley for state supreme court, Kevin Wells for sheriff and Mary Lou Rupp for county clerk.
