OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Free Academy Varsity Football team hopes to make history tonight as they play the Newark Valley Cardinals in their firs- ever Class C Championship game.

Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.
The football team already made history with a victor in the semi-finals against Burke Catholic last week.
The team had an 8-1 season and has beat St. Lawrence Central, Gouverneur, Saranac Lake, Greenwich and Burke Catholic in the playoffs to pave the way to the championship.
Many Ogdensburg and St. Lawrence County residents are making the trip to the game to show their support.
The team includes Avery Love, Hayden Ives, Wyatt Kirby, Cordell David, Jared Barr, Donald Baker, Bruce Reynolds, Michael Reed, Nick Snyder, Joe Dalton, Jackson Jones, Jordan Fennessy, Nick Dean, Sean Montalvo, Nate Jenkins, Dallas Ashley, Kevin Joanette, Dylan Pratt, Noah Strader, Andrew Woodard, Cole Piercey, Eddie Swan, Nate McCarney, Mason Tabolt, Hunter Lira, Jacob Lavigne, Jack Jelly, Mark Barr, Erik LaMay, Mason Knauf, Bradley hillier, Chris Bromley, Matt Rector, Connor Bjork, Chris Garcia, Devin Thurman, Zach Bidwell, Anthoni Pope, Brandon Stewart, Jackson Troiano and Zack Bogardus.
Head coach is Matt Tessmer and assistant coaches are Tony Williams, Charlie McCormick and Brett Monnat.
