OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg residents should expect traffic delays as the city closes several streets for paving.

The City of Ogdensburg Department of Public Works will be closing several streets in the city during the first week of June for milling work.

A list of street closures follows:

• Lafayette Street from the bridge to State Street will be closed on June 1 with a rain date of June 2.

• Spring Street will be closed at New York Avenue heading east and again at the bridge. Lafayette Street will be closed at State Street heading west. This is a single day closure.

• Ford Street will be closed from Caroline Street to Hasbrouck Street on June 2 with a rain date of June 3. This is a single day closure.

• Park Street will be closed from Ford Street to Jay Street on or about June 2 and June 3 with a rain date of June 4.

• Traffic will be limited to the south end of Park Street where it intersects with SH 37 to businesses only on June 3 with a rain date of June 4. Intentions are to complete the milling in this area while school is in session. This is a single day closure.
