OGDENSBURG -- The City of Ogdensburg Departments of Planning and Development and Parks and Recreation will host a public meeting to discuss the city’s recently awarded grants for a regional Oswegatchie Blueway Trail and waterfront improvements to the Paterson Street and Little Park boat launches.
It will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at the Dobisky Visitor Center.
City staff will provide an overview of funding awarded through Empire State Development and the Department of State to develop a regional blueway trail along the Oswegatchie River.
City staff will outline the process of developing such a plan for the upwards of 17 participating communities and potential benefits resulting from the project’s completion.
City staff will also present an opportunity for residents to provide feedback on the $225,000 grant from the State and Municipal Facilities Program (SAM). The city is soliciting feedback from the community on the Paterson Street and Little Park boat launches and how proposed projects can improve the two locations.
