OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg City Council recognized the United Helper’s Mosiac team for the work in helping to beautify the city Monday.
The team volunteered to paint the city’s metal fence a long the Crescent. The group also aided in the staining of Kid’s Kingdom near the Paterson Street boat launch.
Ogdensburg Mayor William Nelson thanked the group for their volunteer work. He said volunteers help the city achieve goals that city council often cannot.
City Manager John Pinkerton said the Mosiac group approaches him for projects.
“I don’t have to reach out to them. They come to me asking what they can do,” he said.
