OGDENSBURG -- City council will hold two public hearings and consider passage of nine resolutions tonight.
The hearings will allow the public to comment on the potential lease of 330 Ford Street office space to Sen. Patty Ritchie, and a $400,000 application for a Community Development Block Grant Program.
Resolutions to be discussed include:
• An ordinance authorizing the city manager to enter into the necessary agreements to lease approximately 840 square feet of office space located at 330 Ford Street (basement) for the Satellite Office of Senator Patricia Ritchie.
• A resolution authorizing the city manager to execute an agreement with Marty Murphy to utilize a portion of Maple City Trail to access his property in the Town of Oswegatchie bordering the city and trail.
• A resolution to call for public notice and public hearing regarding a resolution to increase City of Ogdensburg Parking Fines, effective March 1.
• A resolution to hold harmless St. Lawrence County for providing shared services to the City of Ogdensburg.
• A resolution to provide public notice and a public hearing regarding the addition of Chapter 38, Joint Planning and Zoning Commission, to the Ogdensburg Municipal Code.
• A resolution providing for public notice and public hearing, to add Article VII, Adaptive Reuse District, to the Ogdensburg Municipal Code pending county review.
• A resolution to authorize the city manager to execute an “Undertaking in Connection with Permits” issued by the NYS Department of Transportation.
• A resolution authorizing the city manager to apply to the state of New York Office of General Services for transfer and conveyance of a ce1iain parcel of state land known as the "Parcel A" located in the city of Ogdensburg, in St. Lawrence County.
• A resolution to adopt the NYS Unified Solar Permit for use by the building department as part of the permitting process for small-scale photovoltaic systems.
