OGDENSBURG -- After receiving an offer on a city-owned lot, the council agreed to sell the property at auction.
The 30-foot by 100-foot lot is located at 111 LaFayette Street. The property includes a garage, which will be sold with it.
According to the resolution the lot could not be built on without a variance or adjacent property due to city-required setbacks.
The city agreed to sell the property after receiving a letter from Joanne Poore who expressed interest in purchasing the parcel for the minimum bid of $2,500.
The city must hold auction for property sales.
The resolution did not include a date for the proposed auction.
