OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center recently held its volunteer recognition lunch in the hospital’s Hess Auditorium.
All of their volunteers were acknowledged for dedication to Claxton-Hepburn and thanked for their numerous hours of volunteer service throughout the year.
The Cornerstone Café provided a hot meal and Claxton-Hepburn CEO Nate Howell was on hand to address the guests and hand out certificates of appreciation.
“We truly value the time our volunteers contribute to the Medical Center … Whether it’s a few hours or 1,000 hours, it all makes a positive difference,” Volunteer Services Coordinator Rondalyn Jacobs, who spearheaded the event, said in a prepared statement from CHMC.
People who want to know more about volunteering at CHMC can call Jacobs at 315-713-6171.
