OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg City School District congratulated and recognized eleven employees slated for retirement at Monday’s Board of Education meeting.
Many of the honored employees were present at the meeting to accept Certificates of Appreciation handed out by Superintendent Timothy Vernsey and Board of Education President Ronald Johnson.
Those honored included Douglas Brayton, building maintenance worker, 30 years; Janet Cline, elementary special education teacher, 29 years; Jennifer Dashnaw, elementary teacher, 31 years; Debora Hannan, director of special education, 31 years; and Sandra Irvine, teaching assistant, 25 years.
Also honored were Dale Kirkpatrick, secondary special education teacher, 18 years; Pamela Luckie, secondary principal (7-8 grades), 31 years; Kasey Smith, elementary teacher, 31 years; Randy Tyo, building maintenance helper, 31 years; Kathy Verville, secondary school counselor, 13 years; and Mary Wills, elementary teacher, 31 years.
