OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg City Council will hold its first meeting of the year Monday at 7 p.m. at city hall.
The council will discuss several resolutions including appointments, a land sale and a change to a vehicle and traffic ticket city ordinance.
Among the items listed for city council action are:
• A resolution appointing a Deputy Mayor for the City of Ogdensburg for 2016- 2017.(Bill #1)
• A resolution to appoint three City Councilors to serve on the Executive Compensation Committee for 2016. (Bill #2)
• A resolution to support the City of Ogdensburg joining the St. Lawrence Countywide Health District, in place of a City Health Officer. (Bill #3)
• A resolution calling for a public hearing and public notice regarding a Local Law to amend Chapter 33 of the Ogdensburg Municipal Code, entitled Health Officer; Board of Health. (Bill #4)
• A resolution introducing an ordinance and providing for public notice and public hearing with regard to the sale of City-owned property. (1106 New York Avenue) (Bill #5)
• A resolution to approve the sale of 16 Rensselaer Avenue to Corey J. Maxner. (Bill #6) Ogdensburg City Council Meeting
