OGDENSBURG -- Julia DeCoursey of Ogdensburg has been selected to perform with Varsity Cheer in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City.
DeCoursey is a high school senior at Ogdensburg Free Academy and currently cheers with Cheer Sport Sharks in Stittsville, Ont., as well as with the OFA Varsity squad.
Previously she was a member of NNY All Starz Pink Flamingos in Watertown.
She was selected after submitting an audition video and will attend one week of rehearsals with other cheerleaders from around the nation prior to performing with them in the parade on Thanksgiving.
