OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for their Citizen of the Year, Business Improvement and Outstanding Community Service awards.

They will be presented at their annual dinner on Nov. 13.

The nomination deadline for all awards is Oct. 9.

People should include a brief explanation of why they believe their Citizen of the Year nominee deserves the award.

Nominations for the Business Improvement Award should have “a profound positive impact on the community and its appearance by renovating and revitalizing an existing building or area into a thriving business enterprise in which the community can be proud,” the chamber said.

The Outstanding Community Service Award nominees should be “a person or group who has made a substantial contribution of their time, work and philosophies into a project or program for which the entire Ogdensburg community benefits,” the chamber said.

Nominations: chamber@gisco.net, 393-3620 or regular mail to Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce, 1 Bridge Plaza, Suite 104, Ogdensburg, NY 13669
