OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club will honor two longtime supporters of the organization when it kicks off its 40th expo March 11.
This year the OBGC will honor Rev. Thomas Patterson, Stewart’s and volunteer and alumnus Tom Brady for their contributions to the club.
Patterson is a former OBGC board member and has been a long time supporter of the club and many other organizations in the community.
Stewart’s supports the OBGC conducting a yearly Holiday Match with the OBGC receiving funding each year from the program. Tom Brady, a former club member and employee, volunteers throughout the year assisting with club projects.
The public is invited to attend the opening ceremony.
The expo will be held March 11 to 13 in the OFA Golden Dome.
Expo $10 raffle tickets are on sale from OBGC board members and at Pricechopper, Wal-Mart, Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club and at St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union.
First prize is $5,000. Second and third prizes will be $1,500 gift certificates to Gardner’s Flooring and Furniture. Fourth prize will be a family membership from Northern Physical Therapy. Fifth prize will be a $1,000 cash. Sixth prize will be a technical entertainment package. Seventh prize is a $1,000 gift certificate to Save A Lot.
The drawings will be held March 13 at the conclusion of the event.
There will also be two $500 early bird draws to be held on March 5.
