POTSDAM – New York Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office said she will be at a public meeting of the North Country Regional Economic Development (NCREDC) today at 1 p.m. in Clarkson University’s second-floor Student Center Multipurpose Rooms.

All individuals, businesses, organizations, labor and education representatives from the North Country region are welcome to attend the meeting.

The commission is one of the state's regional development commissions that have been competing each year for millions in economic aid for projects and programs in their respective regions.

The North Country region is composed of representatives from St. Lawrence, Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, and Lewis and counties.

The NCREDC is co-chaired by Garry Douglas, president of the North Country Chamber of Commerce, and Tony Collins, president of Clarkson University.
