High pressure drifting south from eastern Canada will take control of St. Lawrence County weather for the remained of the work week starting today, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Clouds will be slow to clear today, with plant of sunshine from Wednesday, and warm to above normal temps in the upper 60s and 70s.

Patchy fog today before 10 a.m., otherwise mostly sunny with a high near 70, the service says.

Overnight lows will be near 50 with light winds, NWS says.

Highs Thursday and Friday are predicted to be 76 and 78 respectively before cooling off to a high of 55 degrees on Columbus day.
