NORWOOD -- Norwood resident Liza LaBarge won the "People's Choice" award for her "Gladiatrix 2" drawing from the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
LaBarge was awarded a $25 gift certificate donated by First Crush Bistro and a one-year membership to the arts council.
Nearly 100 pieces of artwork were on display in the SLC Arts Members Show at The Gibson Gallery.
Visitors to the exhibit had the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece of artwork during June and July, and voted LaBarge's charcoal and gold pencil drawing the most popular. Artwork by Suzanne Langlier-Lebeda of South Colton, and Deborah Dudley of Potsdam, was also very popular with gallery visitors.
