Norwood village releases summer work schedule, complete with proposed road repairs, paving, brush pickup

NORWOOD -- Norwood Village has released its summer work schedule including proposed road repairs, paving and brush pickups.

All work subject to change due to weather and work that comes up, sewer, water and other projects.

The schedule is as follows:

In May workers will put in docks, install new drainpipes on Morgan Street and clean drains and ditches on Ridge Street. Crews will also install new driveway pipes on Ridge Street. Crews will mow parks and offer brush pick up on a weekly basis.

In June crews will fix all drains on Mechanic Street and build and install new grates at sewer plant. Crews will also grid blacktop on Mechanic Street and hot patch all streets as needed. Brush pickup will be offered at needed and lawns will be mowed weekly.

In July crews will remove and install a new sidewalk on Spring Street and black top streets including Ridge. Parks will be mowed as needed.

In August crews will black top streets including Mechanic and place topsoil around the new Spring Street sidewalk. A new waterline will be installed on Morgan Street. Brush pickup and park mowing will be handled as needed.

In September crews will finish remaining jobs.
