NORWOOD -- The Norwood Village Green Concert Series has complied with new state requirements for non-profit organizations and has begun accepting online donations.
Founded in 1974 and recognized as a not-for-profit organization since 1998, the series had to comply with the newly adopted “Grants Gateway” requirements.
The series had to put in place new policies and procedures and submit them to an on-line document vault for review by the state Council on the Arts, along with other grant-making agencies.
The series received notification Dec. 10 that its submission to the vault was successful.
The series is also now accepting online donations at www.nvgcs.org. The old site, www.norwoodvillagegreenconcertseries.org, is still available
Checks may be mailed to Norwood Village Green Concert Series, 3 Bicknell Street, Norwood, 13668.
