NORWOOD — The Norwood Department of Public Works will be testing fire hydrants Thursday, Sept. 13 to make sure that they are all in good order.
Occasionally, there are instances of the water in the pipeline being stirred up causing "rusty water,” DPW officials said.
If this happens, turn on a faucet and let your water run for a short time and it should clear up.
