NORWOOD -- A public hearing of the qualified voters of the Norwood Public Library Special Legislative District has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 18 at 6:15 p.m.
The meeting was originally scheduled for May 16, at 6 p.m. but had to be rescheduled because the library board did not have a quorum and had to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting will be a presentation of the proposed funding increase of the special legislative district library.
The library board of trustees is proposing a $2000 increase, over the appropriation of $85,000, which was approved by the voters in 2011.
Voters will decide on the measure May 23 between the hours of 2 and 8 p.m. at the library, 1 Morton St.
Voters will also elect two trustees to the board.
