NORWOOD -- Norwood-Norfolk School students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade participated in a Pinwheels for Peace project.
The project aims to advance learning in areas of conflict resolution, peace and sustainability, using International Peace Day, Sept. 21, as a focus.
Each student made pinwheels that represent their thoughts and feelings about peace, anti-bullying and non-violence.
As part of the creation process, students wrote their thoughts about war and peace, tolerance, and living in harmony with others.
Pinwheels were placed in front of the school.
