OGDENSBURG -- The Norwood-Norfolk Key Club recently traveled to Ogdensburg Free Academy for a Division 24 Key Club meeting.

The meeting was held to elect a new lieutenant governor for Division 24 and catch up with other local clubs.

Lieutenant Governor Laken Kelly of OFA presided.

The Norwood-Norfolk, Ogdensburg, Madrid-Waddington, Carthage, and South Jefferson clubs attended.

Activities included a “spooky trail,” breakfasts, free movie days, volunteering at the YMCS, food drives, mentoring, reading at the Boys & girls Club, bell ringing, nursing home visits, and “fun nights.”

The three lieutenant governor candidates, Rebecca Monroe, NNCS; Courtney Denton, of Carthage; and Zoey Martin of OFA, each gave a speech and answered questions.

Rebecca Monroe from the Norwood-Norfolk Key Club was elected lieutenant governor.
