POTSDAM -- The Norwood-Norfolk Key Club held a “McTeacher’s Night” fundraiser at McDonalds, 171 Market St., on Wednesday, Oct. 14, where they waved signs to entice customers to stop in, opened doors for customers and cleaned the lobby.
The members make a percentage of what was brought in from sales.
“The Potsdam McDonald's has been great to the club and other organizations in the area,” said Patti Dean, advisor of the club.
Money raised goes to local projects such as senior bingos, angel trees, scholarships, the American Cancer Society, Autism Speak, Special Olympics, leadership training, and more.
The club has more dates scheduled; they are Nov. 19, May 18, and June 7.
