NORWOOD -- The sixth grade class at Norwood-Norfolk Central School recently spent a day outdoors.
“We had been reading "My Side of the Mountain" by Jean Craighead George, so we decided to have a ‘Sam Gribley Party’ rather than a traditional holiday party in our class,” teacher Heidi Pahler said.
The students enjoyed snacks and watched the ‘My Side of the Mountain’ movie, and then ended the day with a hike on the trails behind the Norwood-Norfolk school on snowshoes.”
