NORWOOD — Norwood-Norfolk Central School students have been collecting pulltabs from aluminum cans to donate to the Shriners Hospital.
The collecting of aluminum has been a part of the school’s recycling effort as well as a fundraiser for the Shriners for many years.
Free orthopedic and burn care is provided to children under 18 at the many Shriners Hospitals located throughout North America.
Students at the school collected 420 pounds of aluminum since September.
