Police: Norwood man impersonated his brother at Monday traffic stop
By ANDY GARDNER
A Norwood man is facing several charges including false personation after allegedly claiming to be his brother when Massena Village Police pulled him over for speeding on Monday.
Billy G. Goodreau, 27, of 2479 County Route 35 is also charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.
An arrest entry made by Patrolman Cody Clary alleges that Goodreau claimed to be his brother Bob V. Goodreau, 25, of Massena when pulled over at 7:50 p.m. Monday on East Hatfield Street.
Billy Goodreau was taken into custody at 11:38 p.m. Tuesday in the Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot and released on an appearance ticket for Massena Village Court.
