NORWOOD -- The Norwood Lake rowing club, the Grateful Oars, has begun its 2015 membership drive.
The club rows in crew boats with four or eight rowers and a coxswain. Grateful Oars members range in age from young adults to people in their 70’s.
They will host their annual Learn to Row Day June 6 for those who think they would like to learn to row but have no experience. Experienced rowers may join the club at any time.
Formal instruction is provided by the club in July and August.
