NORWOOD – The Norwood Lake Association is in the second year of a three-year stocking program that the association has undertaken to reestablish great fishing in the lake.
The association accepted donations from Brookfield Power, Perry’s Big M, Merriman’s, Knowlton & Sons, and the Drew Insurance Agency to purchase and stock Norwood Lake with largemouth bass, blue gills, perch, minnows and walleye pike.
Larry Averill reports that results from last year’s stocking have shown very promising results.
“We hope that fishermen will catch and release while we try to establish a strong fish population in the lake,” Averill said.
