NORWOOD — Nearly ten members of the Norwood Fire Department recently helped build a ramp for past chief Harold Loomis.
Loomis has difficulty walking due to a medical condition and the ramp should help him get around easier, according to his son, Harold Loomis Jr.
Harold Sr. is 40-plus year member of the fire department.
'Myself and on behalf of the fire department are very pleased we could help with the project,' Loomis Jr. said.
Loomis Jr. is the assistant chief of the Norwood Fire Department.
