Locks of Love
Angelina and Christiona Levendusky give every year to Locks of Love, and this year dedicate their donation to the principal, Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School Principal Joanne Bigwarfe. Hairstylist Marilyn LaDue helped them out.
NORWOOD -- Two Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School students have donated their hair to Locks of Love in honor of their principal, Mrs. Joanne Bigwarfe.
The donation was made by Brian and Pamela Levendusky’s two daughters, Christiona, age 9, a second-grader in Ms. Brothers’s class, and Angelina, age 7, a first-grader in Mrs. LaFleur’s class.
Hairstylist Marilyn LaDue of Kerm's Unisex Hairstyling, Potsdam, had the honor of cutting the girls’ hair and styling their new looks.
The girls donate their hair every year to Locks of Love in honor of someone fighting cancer. This year they chose Mrs. Bigwarfe to lift her spirits and help her get better.
A benefit gathering will be held on Sunday, June 10 at Ton's in Potsdam from noon to 8 p.m. to show support for Principal Bigwarfe and her family.
