NORWOOD — Instead of asking party guest to bring his presents for his recent birthday, a Norwood boy asked them to bring donations for the Norwood-Nofolk Central Snack Pack program.

Clark Hewitt, who turned 7 years old Aug. 16 is pictured above presenting his donations to NNCS Snack Pack coordinator Mary Ellen Todd.

He is the son of Jonathan and Tanya Hewitt of Norwood.

The program provides participating students in grades K–5 in the school district with healthy foods for the weekends and holidays.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in volunteering on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 9 a.m. at the Norwood-Norfolk High School cafeteria.
