NORWOOD – A Norwood retiree, with help from his wife, has written a thriller inspired by bullying their children experienced growing up.
John E. Bartlett, retired railroad engineer, has penned “Unsolved,” described by the publisher’s website as an edge-of-your-seat journey through the mind of a maniac. He was assisted by his wife Frances, a retired home health aide.
The book is about a revenge-seeking oil tycoon who was physically and emotionally abused in school during his childhood, and now finds and murders his abusers. Two forensics experts on his elusive trail.
According to the publisher’s website, Outskirtspress.com, “The couple had a total of nine children, and it was the problems their off spring had with others in school that made them concerned with the problems of bullying.”
The book, they hope, packs an important message, “that monstrous abuse can beget monsters.”
