NORWOOD -- American Legion Post 68 held a Veterans Day ceremony at the post.
Four-year-old Hunter Capone recited the pledge of allegiance with his grandfather, past post commander Karl Fetter, by his side.
Junior auxiliary members Madison Carista and Caramia Carista gave an opening and closing prayer.
POW/MIA rendition speech given by our
First vice commander Bob Henninger gave a POW/MIA rendition speech and the post’s ladies auxiliary served a homemade soup and sandwich luncheon following the event.
This was a day of remembering and thanking all Veterans, living and past, in all branches of the military, in all walks of life, said a press release from Post 68. The organization thanked the community for its support of veterans.
