NORWOOD -- The Norwood American Legion recently recognized Michael Tuper for his service to the post.

Tuper is a 13-year member of the Norwood American Legion Post 68 Sons and past sons commander.

The group says he “was honored for his loyalty and dedication to the post over the past years by donating his time and energy to help build the post and its good standing in the Norwood community and the mix of other posts located in St. Lawrence County.”

He received a plaque with an etching of the POW/MIA monument he created by cutting and laying stone and setting Drury brick.

The plaque Tuper received says, "Clark Robinson Post 68, Norwood, NY presents this award to Michael R. Tuper In appreciation of your determination and dedication to our POW/MIA monument 2015."
