NORWOOD — A flag burning ceremony was held at the Norwood American Legion June 14.
Unserviceable, worn and tattered flags were presented by Sgt. at Arms David Butterfield.
They were then inspected by the first and second vice commanders and further presented to the Post Commander Elaine A. Saarinen.
Saarinen gave the order to have them be retired and destroyed by burning with respectful and honorable rights.
