The Northern New York Farm Progress Show committee has rescheduled this August's planned event until next year, in the fall of 2015.
“The committee is grateful for the positive interest in this regional farm exhibition, but in organizing this show's program and the committee's non-profit status, there was not enough time to properly open the show for this August,” said Gerard Monnat, NNY Farm Progress media representative.
The committee is looking forward to acquiring its non-profit status by the end of this year, and is actively working on next fall's event.
Those exhibitors in agriculture are urged to contact the show committee in early 2015 for exhibitor and vendor space for fall 2015's event. Contact Pete Mitchell, show manager, at 265-0206.
Monnat said that next year’s regional farm show will benefit from the extra time they will be able to put into organization and planning, which “will produce a superb agricultural event next year.”
The committee also hopes to have a proper website up and running by the end of this year.
