WATERTOWN -- The Northern New York Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Council has recommended seven grants totaling $7,500 for various local projects across the North Country, including $850 for the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
The Arts Council grant is in support of the council’s arts programs for individuals with special needs
This is the second year the youth council, comprising 15 area high school students, has made community grants.
