NORTH LAWRENCE — A North Lawrence teen who helped save his family from a fire was honored at St. Lawrence County Fire Chief's Association meeting.
Devin Tucker, 14, is shown above with a letter he received from Assemblywoman Addie A.E. Jenne honoring him for leading his family to safety from a fire that destroyed their home on New Year's Day.
He was presented the letter by a staff member from Jenne's office at Thursday night's meeting.
He was accompanied by North Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department Chief Eric LaBrake who is also pictured above.
Tucker was recently presented with a Bravery and Courage Medallion for his actions that night by St. Lawrence County Deputy Fire Coordinator Kevin Durant.
