POTSDAM — A North Lawrence man wanted on an outstanding warrant for allegedy beating a man with a baseball bat along with several other people was arrested in Flordia on Monday, according to Potsdam police.
Potsdam police received a tip that Francis was hiding in Palm City, Florida.
The Palm City Police Department located Francis and took him into custody, officers said.
He is being held in Brevard County Correctional Facility awaiting extradition back to St. Lawrence County.
Francis along with three other people were charged with using baseball bats during an attack on a man during a home invasion on Maple Street last March.
Francis was stabbed during the incident and treated at Canton-Potsdam Hospital for his injuries before being charged by police.
